Tired of rum clichés and sugary imitations, we’re here to shake things up. Our mission is to:
- Break the stereotype that rum is only for mixers and pirates
- Celebrate underrepresented voices in the drinks world
- Champion craft, character, and culture in every pour

MEET THE FOUNDER
I’m Jaspreet — founder, flavour-chaser, and the first British South Asian woman to solely own an independent UK rum brand. With no investors, no big team, and no shortcuts, I built State of Rum as a love letter to grit, heritage, and bold ideas.
Every bottle is personal. Every sip is a reminder: you can rewrite the rules — and make it taste damn good while you’re at it.
